Cara Larkin -  Cousin of the Bride

What can I say about Cara?  I've known her for a long time, even though we live many miles apart, we still always keep in touch and be close.   We hung out when we were in diapers, and throughout the years, we try to visit each other when we are in town.  For the last couple of years, we have grown to know each other more, and became really good friends.

Can't wait til you come into town for our wedding!!!

Jamie Armes - Friend of the Bride

I met Jamie about 4 or 5 years ago and she was a student interpreter at that time.  I remember she was a nervous wreck when she first tried to interpret a class for me.  The moment after class ends, we actually became really good friends.   So even she does not interpret for me anymore, I gained a really good friend!

The cute little bugger with Jamie in the picture is her son, Jaxson.   So cute!

Kathi Burke - Friend of the Bride

Kathi and I've known each other for over 7 years now.  We've been best friends since we met in high school. Even though we both have very busy lives, we try to visit with each other when we can to catch up!  I was one of her bridesmaids at her wedding last year and now she's one of my bridesmaids!   :-) 

Julie Singewald - Sister of the Groom

Julie is my oldest sibling, and really my second mom.  Since I was the fifth child, she really took responsibility over me in my early years, and often I would cry for Julie before mom when I would skin my knee (I still do!). Julie has her own family now, and even though she live up in the cold north (Minnesota), she always feels close to home.

Sarah Richart - Sister of the Groom

Sarah is 4 of 5 kids, me being that last (and greatest!)  She's a fantastic graphic artist, continually amazes me with her talent, despite having less than adequate materals to work with.  She's also someone that's very important in my life, she and I really only had each other for the first couple years out here in Omaha.  I was very happy that she agree'd to be a part of my celebration.

Pat Richart - Brother of the Groom 

I chose Pat as my best man because he was always the guy I could look up to growing up. I look to him as my inspiration and my role model.  I also used him as my model for what not to do on those rare occasions d:¬Þ

Some of best memories I have are with Pat usually looking like this.  Pat lives with his wife Leslie in Colorado Springs; from time to time Colleen and I toy with idea of living in the Springs to be close to him and my Dad.

Jason Beranek - Friend of the Groom

Jason is a friend of mine from here in Omaha;  we went to high school together at Westside.  Jason was one of the few people that made my transistion from Colorado to Omaha worthwhile.  He's been one of my best friends and really is a good guy.

Mike Bloom - Friend of the Groom

I met Mike working for Complete Music as a DJ.  he was a manager at the time, and over the past couple years we've become good friends. 

This picture is from his USAF days when he was an aircraft mechanic.  I think if this was superman's alter ego, instead of Clark Kent, he might have gotten a little more respect from Lois.

Tim Warner - Friend of the Groom

Timmy, as we call him, started at Complete Music just a few weeks before i did.  Since we were kinda of in the same "DJ age group," we really stuck together and got to be good friends.

Tim has since far excelled me as a DJ, he just acheived level 8 DJ in just under 3 years.  Usually this will take a good DJ 5-8 years to acheive.

Randy Rasmussen - Friend of the Groom

Randy is another friend of mine from high school.  When I moved to Omaha, I found it hard to make new friends especially since i was a Junior, and the friend groups were pretty well established.  Randy always made sure to include me, even if I was "Busy cleaning."

Ainsley McLane - Cousin of the Bride

I picked Ainsley because she's so cute!  She is actually my second cousin.   Ainsley is the daughter of my cousin, Dani Jo and her husband Craig.  I am so glad that Ainsley can be a part of our wedding!

Alex Erickson - Nephew of the Groom

This is Christi and Dave's first little one.  I guess its just easier to clean up after a popsicle with no shirt, and out on the back porch. Alex recently became an older brother when his baby sister Olivia Grace Erickson was born. 

With a face like that, who could say no?

Maxwell Brown - Nephew of the Bride

A year ago, when I asked Maxwell that if he would be like to be one of my ushers, and he said "Yes, I want to!   What exactly does an usher do?"   I laughed, and explained to him of what the usher duties are.   He said "That's cool."  

 I can't wait to see him in a very nice tuxedo! 

Jeremy Armes - Friend of the Bride

Jeremy is actually Jamie's husband.   I've known him since Jamie met him.  We would all go out and go dancing and have fun. After a while, they finally got engaged and got married.  I got to be a part of their wedding too as well.
